Newman is one of Australia's most remote Communities.
Thrill in conjunction with East Pilbara Shire developed and run a series of successful remote community Survivor activities in Nullagine and Marble Bar - The Hottest town in Australia!
The highlight was the first every Newman Drain Games, designed for community participation, where anyone and everyone could join in free!
A series of fun Newman related activities were created including the Hilditch smash, Newman Drain Snorkle - a 25m drain blocked and filled with water, The Newman Obstacle Course built with Playground equipment, Egg-sactly, Tractor Tyre Rolling through the mud!!! Sensational fun on a grand scale with 1,000 children activities & adults all vying to jump in.
The week began with inspections of Newmans Drain Sites which circumference Capricorn Oval. Then it was onto packing vehicles with Survivor equipment to head out to Nullagine and meet a remote aboriginal community. They were brilliant!!!! Giving everything we could throw at them a go. Next stop Marble Bar, here the children were vibrant, skilled and demonstrated their prowess in all survivor games.
Whilst the Thrill team was in Newman several exceptional team building events were facilitated for MAM & BHP Billiton on Boomerang Oval with the capable assistance of the East Pilbara Shire.
