Racing round Katoomba and navigating their teams to the 1st checkpoint in the elegant grounds of The Carrington for a not so elegant Krispy Kreme Sweet Treat - Eating Team Challenge!
STOP - ROADBLOCK ahead!! All teams reunited to take part in a 'cycology' challenge; with one team biking their way ahead of the game and strategically yielding another team. Securing Taxi rides to Katoomba's Scenic World was next on the agenda for a clever Mastermind team challenge. Followed by spectacular ride down the Blue Mountains scenic cableway. Teams bonded through the adversities of the day such as the intense yet short lived hail storm. All participants were exhilarated and jubilant as they arrived back to the Palais for the final results and presentations. A surprise underdog team was rewarded with IAG Amazing Race winning trophy.
