Thrill team events designed a survivor team building program designed to foster team spirit and strengthen Philips Customer Service abilities to deliver exceptional service. From Good to Great! The program was led by Philips Customer Service general manager David Stanaway, a proud New Zealander leading his team strongly in 2008.

A ceremonious Philips CS tribal council briefing for 110 delegates launched the team building activities on the Northern Lawn of the Hunter Valley Crowne Plaza. Philips Teams displayed their strengths in Planks crossing treacherous competitor zones, where team work was essential in synchronised movements. Immunity team building Challenges are presented in sequential order. From navigation and orienteering using compass bearings to determine strategic direction. Obstacle course, where teams relayed whilst bonded by rope cuffs to retrieve puzzle pieces then place their pieces to make set patterns. Improving communication, problem solving skills and team cooperation whilst having great fun!
Hunter Valley Crowne Plaza staff were terrific and exceptionally attentive to Philips delegates and Thrill team events staff, ever on hand to ensure a smooth running professionally delivered team building event.
Teams set their targets and fired off Sling Shots. Markmanship improved markedly once managers became targets. Final team immunity challenge Philips Health Care Customer Service Teams built their own rafts from planks, drums, poles, tape and rope. Each section of the teams rafts were carefully cross lashed and then plunged into the refreshing Hunter Valley Crowne Plaza Pool.
Tribal council jury voted and revealed the combined Philips CS teams to be the ultimate survivor winners with Anne becoming the ultimate Survivor.
