Maunsell engineers enjoyed a day by the river in Lane Cove National Park (only 11km from Sydney CBD next to Macquarie Park), for a tasty BBQ lunch and great afternoon of Survivor Strengthen Team Challenges! Tribes were divided and quickly discovered hidden tree-mail. Several tribes focused on speed and strength whilst others proved themselves through consistent strategy and wits.
Tribe members were awarded 'jury bones' for excellent team work performance placing them on the Jury and giving them ultimate power at tribal council. Survivor team challenge activities included - Planks Crossing, Sling Shot Firing, Raft Building, Puzzle Relay, and tribes being blindfolded and led verbally under the guidance of one seeing tribe member.
Each tribe was representd on the jury of 7 and gathered at Tribal council to announce their collaborative decision. Which tribe would win the Immunity idol? Rob took away an individual idol. Ultimately it was the greater Maunsell Tribe who accepted the engraved ornate aboriginal 'nulla nulla' immunity idol.
A delighted Julia Smith, Maunsell Coordinator. Reported a fantastic afternoon of mildly challenging activities suited to all abilities. Where the sling shots captured the essence of her team working to be on target. One of the teams highlight was a superb catered BBQ - Thank you Survivor host Nic & BBQ Maestro Mitch!
