Kayak for Kids 2016 is on Sunday 20 March 2016.
For the past 5 years Thrill team building events has participated in the Kayak For Kids paddle along Sydney Harbour. Each and every time we have been overwhelmed by what a great team building activity this is. Paddling the most spectacular harbour in the world. Passing directly beneath the Sydney Harbour Bridge, skirting Fort Denison. Stroking by the Sydney Opera House and splashing like seals beneath Taronga Zoo.
For us, this is the premier Sydney Kayaking event. Continuing to be a friendly fun competition. Comfortably paddling the rising ups and downs of a moderate predictable swell. Taking stops at several Sydney Harbour Beaches that are hidden secret gems. Only needing to be rescued once at Balmoral Head when tipping in with too much exuberance. Happily, local surf rescue craft on stand by swiftly assisted us and we were back on our merry way to Balmoral and the next checkpoint. Weehooo!

You can bring your own kayak, surf ski, sit on top or register and use the fondly dubbed yellow tubs. Where 2-3 teammates paddle in unison to reach 4 checkpoints between Lavender Bay near Luna Park and the Finish in Middle Harbour. Here is a celebratory lunch, BBQ with family entertainment and festivities.
