Leah Batista UTS Intern at Thrill Team Events

We welcome Leah Batista UTS Intern and talented warrior of gen Z to the Thrill staff team.

As Leah writes: she is…

Excited to start back up at Thrill as an Intern! As I embark on this exciting new chapter, I’m thrilled to be part of the strong, dynamic team with the opportunity to blend my passion for leadership development with the vibrant world of events. Staff, personal and leadership development have been areas I’ve always been interested in, ever since I joined the Student Representative Council at school. This passion followed me into my Vice Captaincy at Cheltenham Girls’ High School and again into university as the cohort Student Representative for 2 years. As I come to the end of my Bachelor of Management (Events) UTS, I look forward to learning from Konrad Lippmann and Michelle Chapman, to lean on their guidance, mentorship and confidence!
Learning from those in the field, I’m excited to be supporting the Thrill team with their content creation and, as Konrad wisely noted, learn to bring in the skill of storytelling into the events I help facilitate. I hope to embody the Thrill energy with every task and inspire such zest for life as Konrad and Michelle do. I’m ready to soak up their knowledge, contribute fresh ideas to grow both personally and professionally.
Joining Thrill is not just an internship; it’s a launchpad for an exhilarating career in event management. Thank you to the Thrill team for welcoming me with open arms. I am honoured to be part of such a forward-thinking and enthusiastic organisation. I can’t wait to support the team and meet wonderful people along the way. Here’s to new beginnings, exciting challenges, and the thrill of the hunt!”

Konrad Lippmann Thrill team building CEO – Intern supervisor; Feedback on Leah Batista

Well done Leah, you have demonstrated the confidence and passion to not only launch a great team activity. But to see the content through. Facilitating the team activities, guiding and encouraging participating staff. Dealing with multiple personalities in a team. Diplomatic scoring, providing feedback, uniting everyone at the end for the final presentations and wrap up. Thrill looks forward to guiding your career and further growth. Implementing the style of leadership you wish to bestow to others.
