- Raft Building briefing
- Followed by a series of fun team ice breaker games.
- Demonstration by Thrill facilitators of HOW to BUILD a REAL functional Raft 101.
- Teams Raft Design followed by approval process – sketch and lay out design of the Rafts structural plans.
- Collect all building materials – Planks, Poles, Drums, Tape, Ropes, Knife.
- Teach & demonstrate techniques of lashing and hydrology
– ie use and application principles relating to rafting and floatation devises / safety - Focus on weight distribution, team position and propulsion / paddling techniques
- Building the Rafts – full on fun and hands on!
- Followed by a 2 way flip test to ensure safety and lashings are not compromised.
