NSW Covid-19 Safety Guidelines Restrictions eased

Sydney Covid Safe End Of Year Staff Team Building Re-Connection Events and Activities for Groups of 15, 20, 30, 60, 90, 120 and up to 300 Participants

Thrill Events has the latest news necessary to plan and deliver an exceptional end of year Re-Connection of Staff Work Christmas gathering activity or event. On the 23rd October 2020 there will be an easing of Covid-19 restrictions based on NSW Government guidelines are outlined below.

Thrill has developed a unique Covid Safety System, registration of participants and guests, alcohol based cleaning station, safe distancing measures, PPE Covid Safe masks where requested and a registerable Covid-19 Safety Plan. Managing participants and staff with 30 in a set group. For groups over 30 we will be splitting the activity or event into managable sizes beneath 30 in each sub set.

Outdoor gatherings

With the easing of some COVID-19 restrictions from Friday 23 October 2020,  up to 30 people can gather in an outdoor public place.

Hospitality venues

From Friday 23 October 2020, hospitality venues such as restaurants, cafes, pubs and clubs can take group bookings of up to 30 customers per booking and the number of people per table increases to 30 customers. Find out more about COVID-19 restrictions easing.

Weddings can include up to 300 guests

From 1 December 2020, the number of people who can attend a wedding increases to 300 people subject to the four square metre rule indoors and two square metre rule outdoors. Find out more about COVID-19 restrictions easing.

The following changes take effect on Friday 16 October 2020.

Outdoor music rehearsals and performances

A music rehearsal or performance of up to 500 people may be held in an outdoor public place. The organiser must complete and register a COVID-19 Safety Plan.

Hospitality venues

Hospitality venues are encouraged to use electronic entry recording for recordkeeping.

Venues that use electronic systems for registering contact details may apply the one person per 2 square metre rule for outdoor areas, subject to maximum capacity limits.

All premises must have a COVID-19 Safety Plan.

Corporate events, weddings, funerals and religious services

Significant events held at hospitality venues that use electronic systems for registering contact details may apply the one person per 2 square metre rule for outdoor areas.

All events must have a COVID-19 Safety Plan and provided there is sufficient space at the venue, the maximum capacity for these events is still

  • 300 people for corporate events
  • 150 people for weddings
  • 100 people for funerals and religious services.
